    Moving to the US

    Are you a relocating executive or an international student in the US? As a global bank, Citibank has developed products and services to meet your needs.

    If you plan to move to the US, chances are you need a US bank account, credit card, or both. Depending on the country you're moving from, Citi may be able to assist you with the account opening process, giving you one less thing to worry about.     Opening a Banking Account in the US

    If you are an existing Citi client in another country, we may be able to schedule an appointment for you upon your arrival at a conveniently located US Citibank branch so that one of our bankers can assist you with your banking needs.

    If you are a Citigold client and plan to maintain Citibank accounts in both the US and your home country, you may be able to transfer the benefits of Citigold status across your accounts by maintaining the minimum balance in at least one countryFootnote 2

    If you are a US-based client with Citigold status and an established credit relationship outside the US, this experience may be able to travel with you to the US for consideration during the credit application process.
