  1. Why are you replacing my card?
    Your current card is being reissued as a Citi® Mastercard® as part of a larger effort to offer a more consistent experience across many of our products and as we look for new ways to enhance your experience in the future
  2. Can I continue to use my old card after I receive my new Mastercard?
    Your old card will expire on September 30, 2020, even if the card shows a future expiration date. To ensure uninterrupted service, please activate and begin using your replacement Mastercard when you receive it.
  3. Why do I see two accounts online?
    Once your account has been converted you will see both your current account and the new Mastercard on your online dashboard. All charges will appear on your new Mastercard. For more information visit https://information.citi.com/productinfo
  4. What will I need to do when my new card arrives with my new account number?
    When your new Mastercard arrives, simply:
    • Activate
    • Sign the back
    • Notify your service providers/online merchants who bill your account
    • If you want to use a digital wallet, update your new card
  5. Will my new card have the contactless functionality?
    Your current card was replaced with a contactless–chip enabled card so you can enjoy faster, easier purchases at millions of merchants who have contactless payment readers.
